Chrysler LLC Recognized as a 'Best Place to Work' by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation


AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrysler LLC achieved a score of 100 percent by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC) in their annual Corporate Equality Index, which measures equality in corporate America for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender employees.

Chrysler has achieved a 100 percent rating for the fourth consecutive year, and is further recognized as a "Best Place to Work" for 2009 by the organization. The Company is one of only two automotive manufacturers to score 100 percent for four consecutive years or better.

Since its inception in 2002, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation Corporate Equality Index has provided businesses with a blueprint for establishing and maintaining inclusive workplaces for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.
