Chrysler to Dump Three Slow-Sellers - Commander May Be the Fourth

We've been hearing rumors over the past couple of months since the un-merger that new Chrysler LLC CEO Bob Nardelli is chomping at the bit to pare down the Chyrsler lineup. Well, yesterday the Detroit News reported that the Pacifica, PT Cruiser, and Magnum would be the first three to get the hook.

The article then went on to speculate at what the fourth vehicle to get axed might be...

The company also may cut its Jeep Commander full-size SUV. Its sales are down 23 percent this year.

Chrysler spokesman Mike Aberlich declined to comment on any plans by the board to slash products. Industry observers, however, were not surprised to learn that Nardelli is eager to downsize Chrysler's lineup.
