Another Ripped Viper Owner in Orlando

(AP) NEWARK One man is dead and another critically injured after a Dodge Viper collided with a tractor-trailer and disintegrated on the New Jersey Turnpike in Newark early Thursday morning, snarling traffic through the morning commute.

The victims were in the car.

Turnpike Authority spokesman Joe Orlando says the sportscar was traveling well over 100 miles-per-hour when it hit the truck around four this morning.

Orlando says the southbound truck lanes around Exit 13-A are mostly opened after they were closed for several hours.

The injured man was taken to University Hospital in Newark.
