The fourth annual Ohio PT Cruiser Car Show is hitting the road this weekend at Young's Jersey Dairy at 6880 Springfield-Xenia Road.

The national event, which runs Friday through Sunday, will feature more than 100 PT Cruisers from 21 states and local car clubs including PT Cruiser BUS Club — for Bellfontaine, Urbana, and Springfield.

The car show will be 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Other events include a nighttime parade through Yellow Springs at 10 p.m. Friday, a fashion show at 4 p.m. Saturday and a ride to local covered bridges before noon Sunday.

Event coordinator Mike Peirano said the event is not just for PT Cruiser enthusiasts, but anyone who would like to join.

"Even if you don't have a PT Cruiser, it'll still be fun," said Peirano, who will hand out 58 trophies over the weekend.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Springfield Police Department canine unit.

Peirano said last year the event raised about $950.
